Join our 12-Month Novel Writing Program, which is not just a course but a year-long class/group dedicated to helping you finish writing your novel this year!

How it works:
1. Enroll in the next program session, which begins on January 6, 2024
2. You will receive a preparation guide to help you prepare for the year of writing. The guide gives you suggestions on how to adjust your life to become a writer as well as your writer success mindset.
3. Weeks before the start of the program you get reminders and tips.
4. You will get access to a group forum to get to know the other participants in the cohort.
5. On September 1st, the course will launch!
Class structure:
MONTHS ONE – NINE
Bi-Weekly Lessons and Exercises: Just as if you were taking a college class, I will teach you creative writing skills and give you examples and exercises to help build your writing muscles. You will not submit these, but I strongly suggest that you watch the video lesson and do the exercises.
Writing weeks: These are deep writing weeks without lessons, giving you the time to apply what you have learned and to make progress on your novel.
Monthly Live Sessions: We will meet as a group once a month to discuss writing issues, connect, and allow you to ask questions.
Accountability Check-ins: At the end of your “writing weeks,” you will check-in, stating how you are doing with your writing and what problems you are having. I will respond with suggestions.
This routine will continue for nine months, at which point you will have a completed first draft of your manuscript.
MONTHS TEN – TWELVE
Editing and Polishing: I will teach you how to edit your work, seek editorial input, and suggest possible editing software to help you revise and edit your work. You will have optional opportunities to exchange and critique each other’s work.
Publishing Guidance: Month 12 will prepare you to either submit your work to a traditional publisher or prepare to self-publish. We will go over the pros and cons of either option.
